The short version. These terms cover this website and nothing else. Read what's here, link to it, quote it with attribution. Don't copy it wholesale or pass it off as your own. Nothing on this site is a contract, an offer, or professional advice, and booking a call doesn't hire us or commit either of us to anything.
These terms govern your use of intuslogic.com. They do not govern our products, each of which has its own terms, and they do not govern work performed for clients, which is governed by a separate written agreement. If you have a signed agreement with us, that agreement controls, not this page.
You're welcome to read this site, share links to it, and quote from it with attribution. What we ask you not to do is narrow:
The content of this site, including the writing, the design, the Intus Logic name and logo, and the descriptions of our products, belongs to Intus Logic LLC. Product names, logos, and screenshots belonging to others, including Apple and the App Store, remain theirs.
Nothing here transfers ownership or grants a license beyond ordinary reading and linking.
The essays and commentary on this site, including the Perspective section, are the opinions of the author at the time of writing. They aren't legal, financial, medical, or professional advice of any kind, and they aren't a recommendation to take or avoid any action.
We try to make every factual claim defensible and we'd rather correct something publicly than quietly delete it. But opinions change, facts get superseded, and a piece written today may read differently in a year. Treat it as a considered view, not as guidance to act on.
Scheduling a discovery call through this site is an invitation to a conversation and nothing more. It doesn't hire us, doesn't obligate us to take on work, doesn't obligate you to buy anything, and doesn't create a confidential or professional relationship.
We take on client work only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Until that exists, neither of us owes the other anything. If you plan to share something genuinely sensitive on a first call, tell us and we'll put an NDA in place first.
The portfolio and product descriptions on this site describe what those products do and are kept as accurate as we can manage. They aren't warranties, guarantees of results, or a promise that any product will remain available, unchanged, or suited to your particular purpose. Products change and some get retired.
This site links to third parties, including the Apple App Store, Cal.com, Substack, and our own products on their own domains. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your information. Once you follow a link, their terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.
We put real care into this site, but we provide it as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intus Logic LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site, or for any loss resulting from reliance on its content. In any case, our total liability relating to this site is limited to one hundred dollars.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you and we consent to that venue.
We may revise these terms. If we do, we'll update this page and move the "last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised version. We won't apply changes retroactively to something that already happened.
If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and the unenforceable part is applied to the maximum extent the law allows.
