The short version. This website doesn't ask you for anything and doesn't collect anything about you personally. There are no accounts, no forms, and no cookies. We count page views using a tool that sets no cookies and can't follow you anywhere. If you'd rather not be counted at all, there's a one-click way to opt out, described below.
This policy covers intuslogic.com, the website of Intus Logic LLC. It does not cover our products, which are separate applications with their own privacy policies, and it does not cover work we do under contract for clients, which is governed by that engagement's own agreement.
None, unless you choose to send it. This website has no contact form, no newsletter signup, no account system, and no place to enter anything.
If you email us at info@intuslogic.com, we'll have your email address and whatever you wrote, for as long as we keep the message. That's ordinary correspondence, and we treat it the way you'd expect: we use it to reply to you and we don't add you to any list.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and cannot recognize you across other websites or across separate days. What it records is the page you viewed plus the general information every browser sends to every website it contacts: the referring page, your general location at the country level, and your browser and operating system type.
We use this to answer questions like "did anyone read the essay" and "did that ad send anyone here." Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Visit any page on this site with ?notrack at the end of the address, like intuslogic.com/?notrack. That browser will stop being counted, permanently, until you clear the site's stored data. You'll need to do it once in each browser and on each device, because the setting is stored locally in that browser and nowhere else.
The opt-out setting above is the only thing this website ever writes to your browser's storage, and it's only written if you actively opt out. It's a single value that means "don't count this browser." It contains nothing about you, it's never sent anywhere, and it's readable only by this site.
This site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server records of requests, including IP addresses, as any web host does. We use their summary statistics to understand traffic volume. Netlify's privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy.
The typefaces on this site load from Google's servers. That means Google receives your IP address when a page loads, in the same way any server you request a file from does. We don't control what Google does with that, and their privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. We're mentioning it because it's the one third party that sees you here without your doing anything, and a policy that omitted it would be incomplete.
Our "Book a Free Discovery Call" links go to Cal.com, a separate scheduling service. Nothing is shared with them unless you follow that link and book something, at which point you're giving your name, email, and whatever else the form asks for directly to Cal.com and to us. Their privacy policy is at cal.com/privacy.
This site links out to our own applications and to third-party sites such as the Apple App Store and Substack. Once you follow a link you're on someone else's property, under their policy, not this one. Our products each have their own privacy policy, and those govern the products.
This is a business website aimed at companies and founders. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Because we don't collect personal information through this website, there generally isn't anything for us to look up, correct, or delete on request. If you've emailed us and would like that correspondence deleted, write to info@intuslogic.com and we'll do it.
To stop being counted in our page view statistics, use the ?notrack method described above. You can also block analytics generally with browser-level tracking protection or a content blocker, and this site will work normally if you do.
If we change how this site handles information, we'll update this page and move the "last updated" date at the top. That date is the one to watch. We'd rather revise this page than let it quietly drift out of date, which is the more common failure.
